A Celebration of the River Waveney, Photographic Print Competition and Exhibition

Take part in a new and exciting photographic competition to illustrate the beauty of the River Waveney and its environment, between Bungay and its source at Redgrave Fen

The selected photographs will be exhibited at Wingfield Barns, Suffolk, between Tuesday 24th and Monday 30th August 2010.

Selection procedure:

1.    The selection of photographic prints for exhibiting at Wingfield Barns will be made by a panel of four judges all of whom have professional experience of the art of photography.

2.    A maximum of 150 photographic prints will form the exhibition at Wingfield Barns.

3.    There are three entry classifications;

•    Under 12 years of age
•    12 – 18 years of age
•    19 years of age and older

4.    A 1st prize of a membership for one year to the Royal Photographic Society will be awarded to the winner of each category and 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category will also receive a prize. Commendation certificates may also be awarded.

5.    The awards will be based on those photographic images which best capture, in the opinion of the judges, the River Waveney and its environment.

6.    The judges’ decision is final.

7.    Winners will be notified by post and invited to the exhibition Private View for presentation of their prize.
