One of the highlights of the year at Wingfield Barns is the International Mini Print exhibition. The exhibition, which has been running annually since 1995, is curated by Ian Chance who is currently course director for the MA Creative Entrepreneurship course at the University of East Anglia. The exhibition has been shown annually in L’Etang d’Art Gallery in Bages, France, and at Wingfield Barns in the UK at the same time as in Cadaqués, Spain. The Mini Print International of Cadaqués is the most popular and longest running exhibition of mini prints in the world.
New landscapes with the power of suggestion moving between figuration and abstraction from the mists of East Anglia to the arid plains of Queensland, Australia. Rosemary trained at the Royal Academy Schools in the 1960s and was strongly influenced by Pop Art and the Photo Realists with exhibitions in London and East Anglia. She lectured in Fine Art at Harrow School of Art, Middlesex and the Camden Institute, London. Recent exhibitions include Mandell’s Gallery Norwich and the Harleston & Waveney Art Trail Collective.
John will be exhibiting his work in Studio 4 from 22nd July to 4th August.
Saturday 30th September to Sunday 15th October
The exhibition displays all accepted print images from the 2017 Members’ Exhibition of the RPS Nature Group. The displayed prints are from two categories, the first ‘All Creatures’ (birds, mammals, reptile, insects, marine life et al) and the second ‘All Plant Life’ (flora, fungi, lichens) and ‘all other subjects’ (including geological, microscopy, patterns, design and form).
As you will see, there is a wide variety of species and subjects, representing the diverse interests of the Nature Group Members.
