History with hi-tech

Set in the heart of the Waveney Valley on the borders of Suffolk and Norfolk, Wingfield Barns is available for hire in part or as a complete site. We welcome enquiries from public and private sector organisations looking to run conferences, away days, retreats, casting sessions, interview days or confidential meetings.

We have two main conference spaces:
The Great Barn can accommodate up to 120 delegates. A combination of high ceilings, panelled walls and WiFi. Plus digital projector and electric screen,
PA system and track lighting. Prices start from £200 per day.

Lecture Room/Small Conference Room/Practical Workshop.

This room can be used either as a traditional conference space or as a more creative space, and is suitable for up to 30 people.
Organisations, artists and community groups can hire these to put on their own events.

We also have extensive gardens and free car parking for up to 70 cars. Overnight accommodation can be arranged at the local hotels and bed and breakfasts and all catering is taken care of, should you require. Prices start at £175 per day.

Schools

Educational visits to Wingfield Barns have been hugely rewarding for pupils and teachers. Whether visiting visual art exhibitions or participating in practical workshops they take learning beyond the classroom. They are motivating, stimulating and engaging. In fact, the feedback from teachers and pupils is very positive and often results in students re-visiting independently of classmates.

Making use of the wonderful gardens and picnic lawns breaks up the day for pupils who are welcome to bring their own packed lunches or buy lunch from our coffee shop.
