Are you interested in cultural and community activities? Do you have a background in the arts, or experience in business or venue management? Do you have other relevant skills that can be utilised in a new business? If so, we would like to hear from you.

In particular, we are looking for people with business skills in financial management, administration, ICT, marketing, design, media, event management, fundraising, and HR. We want to attract people who are passionate about serving our diverse communities in Suffolk and Norfolk, people who value the East Anglian countryside, people who really want to improve quality of life.

Does this sound like you?

Ideally suited for a tea stop, we are happy to arrange cream teas, or similar, for large parties at a cost of just 5 per head. Advance booking is essential for these events, please call the box office on 01379 384505 or email enquiries@wingfieldbarns.com with details of your excursion and pit-stop requirements.

We have car parking for up to 50 cars and the site is fully accessible to those with special access needs. There are 3 blue badge parking bays and the site is fitted with ramps and rails.

We are a pet-friendly venue and welcome all well-behaved dogs on leads.

Although a small village nestled deep in the quiet Suffolk landscape, there is still plenty going on:

Wingfield College

One of the most extraordinary houses in Suffolk, the grand Georgian facade of Wingfield College conceals a rare mediaeval survival: the remnants of a chantry college of priests, complete with a cloister walk and a Great Hall from 1362.

In 2011 the house and gardens will be open to the public for pre-booked guided tours. Please click here for more details and the opportunity to book.
