Centered on a Grade II listed timber framed barn built in 1537, the sympathetically restored barns sit well away from the road providing all the seclusion and beauty that you would expect from your wedding venue.

The Great Barn, in its magnificent and very private location offers the perfect setting for a day as special as your wedding. Wingfield Barns is fully licensed to conduct civil ceremonies so your marriage can be conducted on-site, moving into the Barn for your wedding reception.

Adjacent to the Great Barn are the terrace and lawns which offer great outside space in fine weather and can accommodate outside catering or a wedding ‘fete’.

The Bride-to-be and close family or friends have the unusual luxury of a preparation suite, The Granary that can be made available throughout the day. This has proved of enormous value and offers exceptional facilities including sofas, mirrors, a small kitchenette and dining area, a lounge with sofas and TV and three single-bed en-suite rooms if required.

Whether you are getting married for the first or second time, wanting to celebrate a special anniversary or are planning to renew your wedding vows, Wingfield Barns is the venue for you. Beautiful, yet practical, harmonising with the tranquility of the rural location, soft music or acoustic ensembles are encouraged to accompany your wedding.

Wingfield Barns is available on a hire-only basis allowing you freedom to choose all outside suppliers, or on a package basis whereby we introduce you to our preferred suppliers covering catering, photography, flowers, transport, musicians and of course local accommodation.

Civil ceremony only from £500 (excluding registrar’s fee)

Venue hire only - £1 500 - £2 500

Civil ceremony and reception packages (based on 100 guests) - £4000 - £8 500

Reception only from £3 000
