Set in the heart of the Waveney Valley on the borders of Suffolk and Norfolk, Wingfield Barns is available for hire in part or as a complete site.

We welcome enquiries from public and private sector organisations looking to run conferences, away days, retreats, casting sessions, interview days or confidential meetings.

Conferences & Training at Wingfield Barns
Wingfield Barns offers flexible and characterful spaces for conferences, training days, meetings, and professional events. Set within a peaceful rural environment, our venue provides a calm and inspiring alternative to traditional conference centres.

Flexible Event SpacesWe offer a range of adaptable spaces to suit events of different sizes and formats:
  • The Great Barn
    Measuring 14.6m x 5.8m, The Great Barn can accommodate up to 120 delegates. This spacious area is ideal for conferences, presentations, talks, training sessions, and larger group gatherings.
  • Galleries 1 and 2
    Gallery 1 measures 9m x 4.6m, and Gallery 2 measures 10.8m x 8.5m. These spaces can be hired individually or combined, making them well suited for smaller meetings, workshops, breakout sessions, or parallel training activities.

The layout of all spaces can be adapted to suit your event, whether you require theatre-style seating, group tables, or open areas for discussion and collaboration.

Who the Spaces Are For
Wingfield Barns welcomes organisations, artists, educators, and community groups to hire our spaces for their own conferences, training events, workshops, and professional gatherings. Our venue is particularly well suited to those seeking a setting that feels welcoming, creative, and non-corporate.

Outdoor Space and Accessibility
The barns are set within extensive gardens, offering delegates the opportunity to step outside during breaks, enjoy fresh air, or hold informal discussions in a relaxed outdoor setting.

We also provide free on-site car parking for up to 70 cars, making the venue easily accessible for both local and visiting delegates.

Catering and Refreshments
Lunches and refreshments can be provided in collaboration with The Tudor Bake House, offering high-quality, locally produced food for your event. Catering options can be discussed to suit the format and schedule of your conference or training day.

Schools Private Hire 
​Wingfield Barns is also an excellent venue for schools looking to showcase student work or host special educational events. Our spaces can be transformed into:
  • Gallery-style exhibitions for art, photography, design, and coursework displays
  • Theatre and drama performances, rehearsals, and showcases
  • Music events and concerts, including recitals and ensemble performances
  • End-of-year celebrations and school proms, offering a memorable alternative to traditional venues

Home Schooling and Education at Wingfield Barns
Wingfield Barns is an ideal space for home-educating families who want to learn together in a welcoming, flexible, and inspiring environment. We are able to host home school families who wish to meet regularly, collaborate as a group, or arrange one-off educational sessions.

Our venue is perfect for;
