Mission Statement

- Why we are here -
Since the CIC was formed in April 2010, Wingfield Barns has been a centre for the local community, providing a variety of opportunities for people to cultivate their interests and offers an ideal venue for private celebrations, conferences and educational activities whilst offering ideal facilities for ‘break-out’ sessions and workshops.  Regular events include theatre performances, live concerts, prestigious art exhibitions, art classes and physical exercise opportunities.

The CIC is engaged with a number of local community organisations and proves to be an ideal venue for a variety of local meetings and annual events such as the village fete and harvest supper. Revenue is also generated from hire for civic and private functions such as wedding receptions, funerals, celebratory birthdays and christenings.

A local theatre company rehearse and perform their twice-yearly productions in these beautiful grounds, and three further spaces are rented out on private tenancies.
